The supporters of Ibirama Futebol Clube booed when Tunge Titans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakim Cody's late challenge caught a Ibirama Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hakim Cody helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tunge Titans's Hakim Cody got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ruud Windmuller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godofredo Lauaxeta went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Fritz Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ganix Urbakh fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tunge Titans's protests and gave Ganix Urbakh a yellow card for diving instead. Bianco Garvetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Sabóia in the 19th minute of the match. Bianco Garvetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tunge Titans getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fritz Carlsson hit a great ball. Tunge Titans's Ganix Urbakh managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frederico Moraes in the 30 minute of the game. Khamzat Chimaev's late challenge caught a Ibirama Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Khamzat Chimaev helped the player get up and apologised. Khamzat Chimaev kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The throw-in from Frederico Moraes in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tunge Titans's Ganix Urbakh. With 56 minutes on the clock, Leonardo Nyman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Tunge Titans's Joakim Rydelius was substituted for Ganix Urbakh. Tunge Titans's Bengt Ekeberg was substituted for Lilian Thuram. In the 55th minute, one of Tunge Titans:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tunge Titans. When Tunge Titans's Godofredo Lauaxeta in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Larsfelt in the 85th minute of play forced Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ruud Windmuller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruud Windmuller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Åke Larsfelt's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Edson Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ruud Windmuller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Larsfelt in the 88th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Tunge Titans got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Carlsson. In the 96thth minute of the game Jens-Åke Larsfelt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ruud Windmuller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tunge Titans fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ibirama Futebol Clube had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
