The supporters of Dionisia booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dionisia's Arnoldo Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Salgado in the 14th minute of play. Arnoldo Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Novaes in the 16th minute of play. Placido Porfirio's late challenge caught a Ibirama Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Porfirio helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Augusto Novaes in the 21st minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Arnoldo Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Porfirio to maneuver through the defense. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ruud Windmuller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Milio in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Pietro. In the 27th minute of the match Dedê Trancoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoldo Gabrio skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 37 in the game by Fabian Milio from a close distance when the talented Ruud Windmuller managed to make a qualified save. Ibirama Futebol Clube's players were relieved. Dionisia's Fabian Milio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Dionisia's Fabian Milio in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th minute, Valentin Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 50 minutes, Dênis Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibirama Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dênis Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 52nd match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Porfirio to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Dionisia's Claudio Eneko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruud Windmuller made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Dionisia's Erubiel Herrera was substituted for Fabian Milio. In the 67th minute Claudio Eneko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Windmuller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruud Windmuller came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Dionisia's Claudio Eneko. But to his dismay, Claudio Eneko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 73rd minute Erubiel Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Windmuller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruud Windmuller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Eneko, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Luisão Sabóia hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Dênis Terra got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Placido Porfirio who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Placido Porfirio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruud Windmuller quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 87 minutes, Claudio Eneko made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ruud Windmuller tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ruud Windmuller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Eneko in the 92nd minute of play. After 92 minutes, Válbson Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibirama Futebol Clube and the Dionisia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Silva. Placido Porfirio, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ibirama Futebol Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
