Carlos Germano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Gaston Joanes in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sportivo Fernet Branca's Luisito Seme. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fratelli Branca in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Germano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Nemesio Ubendu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Germano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fratelli Branca in the 27th minute of play. Eustaquio Gerazan made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sportivo Fernet Branca's Erasmo Teyo. Sportivo Fernet Branca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. Sportivo Fernet Branca's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
