Gustavo Chabier kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Chayo in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Roderigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elpidio Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Fausto Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Elpidio Chayo could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Fausto Roderigo however easily saved by the left post. In the 15th minute, Virgilio Guerau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornelio Mino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Romagnoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Bicicleta F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Beppe Romagnoli in the 26th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Águilas Poblanas's goalie and right to Edgardo Iruinea. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Águilas Poblanas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fausto Roderigo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Elpidio Chayo sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Fausto Roderigo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fausto Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Maties, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Bicicleta F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Naldo. In the 43rd minute, Segundo Feliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Águilas Poblanas's Cornelio Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Feliu in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Martin Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beppe Romagnoli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleuterio Sotil made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Edgardo Iruinea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cornelio Mino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fausto Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Eleuterio Sotil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Cornelio Mino made a huge save. Cornelio Mino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Iruinea in the 61st minute. Eleuterio Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Iruinea came free, but Cornelio Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Mino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Sotil in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Bicicleta F.C.'s Segundo Feliu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Eleuterio Sotil charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Sotil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Bicicleta F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Sotil. After some careless play in the Águilas Poblanas defense, Segundo Feliu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Mino. The Águilas Poblanas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Mino should have stopped the shot. If Eleuterio Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Águilas Poblanas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bicicleta F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
