Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Dave Valeriani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ion Lupu. 15 minutes into the game, Bernardo Reali was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farafulla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batalionul U23 Dorobanti the free kick. Bernardo Reali hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Felice Di Marco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ion Lupu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dave Valeriani made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ion Lupu sent off a good shot on target. Dave Valeriani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ion Lupu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Tristan in the 31st minute of play forced Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Dave Valeriani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Ion Lupu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ion Lupu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience was convinced that Ion Lupu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave Valeriani was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Alessandro Mazzetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blagoy Doro's late challenge caught a Farafulla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blagoy Doro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Blagoy Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ion Lupu got free with Dave Valeriani in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angel Comizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Benvenuto, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Bernardo Reali cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Angel Comizzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Ion Lupu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dave Valeriani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Ion Lupu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave Valeriani was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Quique Doro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dave Valeriani having to make a save. Ion Lupu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Valeriani having to interfere. Dave Valeriani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Lupu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 74 minutes Farafulla FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Quique Doro who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Adrian Isăilă got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 75 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Ion Lupu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 80 minutes into the game, Gavril Bobei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Farafulla FC the free kick. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Farafulla FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Quique Doro took the corner. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ion Lupu put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dave Valeriani. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Diego Tristan put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dave Valeriani. After some careless play in the Farafulla FC defense, Ion Lupu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Valeriani. The Farafulla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Valeriani should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were the better team. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
