Thanks to some nice moves Ernie Ball could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Hamílton Rezende however easily saved by the left post. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Paes in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ernie Ball nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hamílton Rezende made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With an all-out effort, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Hamílton Rezende threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diego Tristan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Octavian Balc struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Hamílton Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batalionul U23 Dorobanti. If Albano Faron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernie Ball could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Hamílton Rezende made a huge save. Hamílton Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernie Ball in the 27th minute of the match. Angel Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ernie Ball sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hamílton Rezende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hamílton Rezende made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ernie Ball sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute of the match, Ernie Ball got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hamílton Rezende was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ernie Ball could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Hamílton Rezende made a huge save. Hamílton Rezende was a little too slow when Diego Tristan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Hamílton Rezende came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ernie Ball. But to his dismay, Ernie Ball quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Hamílton Rezende came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ernie Ball. But to his dismay, Ernie Ball quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Ernie Ball recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind October 04's goalkeeper Hamílton Rezende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Renan Trancoso in the 65th minute. Ruy Lira thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Hamílton Rezende, a very annoying self made goal in the 65th minute which led to 5-0. Hamílton Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Tristan in the 68th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Diego Tristan notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of October 04's Hamílton Rezende. Hamílton Rezende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute Ernie Ball shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Elói Fernandez. In the 74th minute, Diego Tristan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 92nd minute, Ernie Ball left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. When Ernie Ball came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernie Ball couldn't finish the play.
