Paulo Neves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Dave Valeriani skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 14th match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Esteves to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Paulo Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Valeriani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Ruggeri in the 18th minute of play forced Pendotiba's goalkeeper Ramiro Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Ruggeri in the 18th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Paulo Neves took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dave Valeriani to make any attempt to save it. But to his dismay, Alessandro Mazzetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Reali made a kick off. The coaching staff of Pendotiba protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luís Fernando Esteves had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Pendotiba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Farafulla FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Farafulla FC's Elia Fantasia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ramiro Dias.
