Tuna Usun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Guerrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Özgür Göktürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özgür Göktürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cumali Oykan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jarrett Maddern kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cumali Oykan. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. With a little luck, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Cumali Oykan got control of the ball when Jarrett Maddern tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cumali Oykan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some careless play in the ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ defense, Jarrett Maddern kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cumali Oykan. The ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cumali Oykan should have stopped the shot. Cumali Oykan was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Jarrett Maddern capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jarrett Maddern really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. With his leg Cumali Oykan managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Elderslie Magpies's Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zülfikar Özkurt hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Tuna Usun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Özgür Göktürk was the one to do the kick off. Cumali Oykan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliot Rosendal in the 53rd minute of play. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joel Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hale Mckinnes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Özgür Dayı got a free kick in the 67th minute. The supporters of ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Byron Osbiston didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Semi Buyrukalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Göktürk came free, but Esteban Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's attentive Korkut Sekib managed to snatch the ball when Byron Osbiston made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Cumali Oykan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Elderslie Magpies walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
