An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincenty Mocko in the 6th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Sabri Letailleur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonin Daguerre got free with Barnaba Kiszkiel in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wincenty Mocko struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Sabri Letailleur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Mazur Ełk. Sabri Letailleur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipo Inzaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Filipo Inzaghi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the MKS Mazur Ełk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipo Inzaghi couldn't finish the play. Barnaba Kiszkiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul-Émile Morille, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Wincenty Mocko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Letailleur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Filipo Inzaghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute MKS Mazur Ełk were awarded a corner. Iwan Kolacki went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipo Inzaghi in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabri Letailleur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filipo Inzaghi struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Sabri Letailleur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Mazur Ełk. Filipo Inzaghi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabri Letailleur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Herblay's Sabri Letailleur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Mocko in the 35th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Herblay! 43 minutes into the game, Paul-Émile Morille was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Herblay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKS Mazur Ełk the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul-Émile Morille to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, MKS Mazur Ełk's Filipo Inzaghi got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillaume Soudan made a kick off. In the 51st minute Filipo Inzaghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Letailleur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipo Inzaghi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sabri Letailleur having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Filipo Inzaghi came free, but Sabri Letailleur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Herblay's goalkeeper Sabri Letailleur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wincenty Mocko. 59 minutes into the game, Émilien Tessier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Herblay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKS Mazur Ełk the free kick. After 59 played minutes Herblay got a freekick which was hit by Émilien Tessier. Sabri Letailleur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipo Inzaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sabri Letailleur came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Mazur Ełk's Filipo Inzaghi. But to his dismay, Filipo Inzaghi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. MKS Mazur Ełk's Teobald Gregorczyk was substituted for Rafal Ryback. MKS Mazur Ełk's Jamal Musiala was substituted for Gvidas Špokas. In the 69th minute of the match, Idacio Helguera tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sabri Letailleur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 74 minutes, Tom Colle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herblay and the MKS Mazur Ełk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sabri Letailleur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filipo Inzaghi in the 75th minute. MKS Mazur Ełk's Filipo Inzaghi got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barnaba Kiszkiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batista Fuertehijar in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Filipo Inzaghi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herblay's Sabri Letailleur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Idacio Helguera came free, but Sabri Letailleur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipo Inzaghi took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabri Letailleur. Sabri Letailleur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The corner led MKS Mazur Ełk's Iwan Kolacki to fire away a dangerous shot which Sabri Letailleur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Filipo Inzaghi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Sabri Letailleur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. MKS Mazur Ełk played a much better game than Herblay and deserved their victory. The Herblay players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
