But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ponce Delgado couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Ponce Delgado put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hugo Branco. The supporters of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 booed when Aston Villa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes, William Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aston Villa F.C and the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Sancho Zaplana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gorosti Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcisio Arce hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Ponce Delgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Branco. Aston Villa F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ponce Delgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Hugo Branco came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Ponce Delgado. But to his dismay, Ponce Delgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 28 played minutes Aston Villa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Chico Donato. 34 minutes into the game, Tipi Mayor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Hugo Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Tarcisio Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ventura Astudillo in the 42nd minute of play forced Aston Villa F.C's goalkeeper Hugo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tipi Mayor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ventura Astudillo in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorosti Mora in the 46th minute of play forced Aston Villa F.C's goalkeeper Hugo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 52nd minute, Gorosti Mora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Branco was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Tipi Mayor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tipi Mayor really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Tipi Mayor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Hugo Branco made a huge save. Hugo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ventura Astudillo in the 60th minute of the match. Hugo Branco was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Ventura Astudillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ventura Astudillo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. In the 64th minute, João Pedro Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tipi Mayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tipi Mayor in the 75th minute of play forced Aston Villa F.C's goalkeeper Hugo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Aston Villa F.C's Hugo Branco got control of the ball when Gorosti Mora tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tipi Mayor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Branco. That made the score 0-9 in the 82 minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Tipi Mayor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hugo Branco, 0-10. Robinho Damião took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eufemio Zubizarreta. Eufemio Zubizarreta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tipi Mayor in the 96th minute of play forced Aston Villa F.C's goalkeeper Hugo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aston Villa F.C throughout the match.
