C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKS Mazur Ełk the free kick. Ponce Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Eufemio Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Mocko, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Filipo Inzaghi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eufemio Zubizarreta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goal looked a bit too open when Filipo Inzaghi came free, but Eufemio Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ventura Astudillo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Gâlcă. Eufemio Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Raszkiewicz in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's zone, Filipo Inzaghi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eufemio Zubizarreta came out of the goal and Filipo Inzaghi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Filipo Inzaghi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MKS Mazur Ełk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Eufemio Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Mocko in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Xandro Aguado got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Eufemio Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipo Inzaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Xandro Aguado made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gorosti Mora. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Gorosti Mora's late challenge caught a MKS Mazur Ełk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gorosti Mora helped the player get up and apologised. With his leg Eufemio Zubizarreta managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when MKS Mazur Ełk's Filipo Inzaghi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 59 minutes, Filipo Inzaghi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Mazur Ełk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipo Inzaghi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Eufemio Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Mocko in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ponce Delgado in the 70th minute of play forced MKS Mazur Ełk's goalkeeper Barnaba Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gvidas Špokas charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gvidas Špokas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Adrián Villalcazar was substituted for Ventura Astudillo. MKS Mazur Ełk's Roman Gdowski was substituted for Vykintas Jasilionis. In a very dangerous position, a player in MKS Mazur Ełk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! MKS Mazur Ełk:s Barnaba Kiszkiel showed great skill when he stopped Sancho Zaplana:s penalty. Ponce Delgado hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Filipo Inzaghi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eufemio Zubizarreta. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 86th minute, Adrián Villalcazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Idacio Helguera kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 87thth minute. Though ot was a great shot C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's keeper Eufemio Zubizarreta was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. MKS Mazur Ełk's Michal Karbownik managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eutropio Salan in the 89 minute of the game. With a little luck, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Eufemio Zubizarreta got control of the ball when Idacio Helguera tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 98th minute, MKS Mazur Ełk's Filipo Inzaghi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5.
