The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Eklund got free with Christer Kullander in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Team Xtra personell's Morgan Martinsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Morgan Martinsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Team Xtra personell protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Morgan Martinsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Team Rocco a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mark Överman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Team Xtra personell's Ludwig Fransson. 1-3. After the first half Team Rocco were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niclas Blom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Team Xtra personell's Ludwig Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Kalfhage in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Team Xtra personell defense, Fredrik Bjurström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludwig Fransson.
