Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Alberto de Sousa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 11th minute Edgard Armentier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Miguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Cabral. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Lira in the 17th minute of play. Edgard Armentier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Miguel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of de belletrekkers booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Lira came free, but Kristiaan Van de Velde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Futbol Club RRFV's Carlos Alberto de Sousa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristiaan Van de Velde. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Edgard Armentier managed to get in a good position for a shot. de belletrekkers's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Armentier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Miguel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Van Impe in the 37th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Fernando Miguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, George Van Impe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The de belletrekkers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Armentier in the 43rd minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Fernando Miguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If George Van Impe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Edgard Armentier made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Miguel made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Edgard Armentier sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Dida da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club RRFV's zone, Edgard Armentier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Miguel came out of the goal and Edgard Armentier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes de belletrekkers got a freekick which was hit by Georges-Philippe van Haghten. Edgard Armentier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Fernando Miguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Armentier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. George Van Impe struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Fernando Miguel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for de belletrekkers. When Dida da Cunha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Armentier in the 74th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Fernando Miguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Alberto de Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Alberto de Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Edgard Armentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristiaan Van de Velde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Futbol Club RRFV's attack was well implemented in the 83rd minute, but when Kauã Lira was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 85 minutes, Edgard Armentier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the de belletrekkers and the Futbol Club RRFV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kauã Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristiaan Van de Velde having to interfere. Edgard Armentier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fernando Miguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Fernando Miguel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Van Impe. de belletrekkers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
