Emanuel Mazza hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georges-Philippe van Haghten in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Massa saved Danone CC from getting behind. Otávio Massa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when de belletrekkers's Georges-Philippe van Haghten shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Kristiaan Van de Velde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Mosiniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Recife came free, but Kristiaan Van de Velde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Focquier in the 18th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georges-Philippe van Haghten made a kick off. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Enéas Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. Cyprian Grajewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otávio Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Focquier, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Gino Focquier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otávio Massa was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. A well-hit corner resulted in Georges-Philippe van Haghten heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save de belletrekkers from getting a goal against them. Luís Eduardo de Alcântara replaced Jairo Macedo. After 84 played minutes Danone CC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Recife. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Kristiaan Van de Velde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Robijns came free, but Otávio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
