An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Barreto in the 19th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Edgar Brenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Alexsandro Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Brenner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Carlos Alberto de Sousa made the kick off in the second half. Dorival do Vale's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edgar Brenner firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dorival do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Edgar Brenner made a huge save. When Bror Skoog came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bror Skoog couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Lira came free, but Edgar Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AIF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Kauã Lira charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Edvard Lustig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Miguel having to interfere. When the match was over Futbol Club RRFV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AIF throughout the match.
