After 8 minutes, Júnior Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Danone CC and the Jordan F1 91-05 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Otávio Massa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edmund Sandberg. Gustav Öberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otávio Massa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustav Öberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Otávio Massa made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ingvar Wållander sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Gustav Öberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Otávio Massa to make any attempt to save it. Max Dahlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Veloso in the 19th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Danone CC's Otávio Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Uter in the 37th minute of play. A hard shot 41 in the game by Richard Uter from a close distance when the talented Otávio Massa managed to make a qualified save. Danone CC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Jordan F1 91-05's Youri Tielemans got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júnior Veloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Júnior Veloso had several of the Jordan F1 91-05's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Max Dahlgren as he didn't even see the shot coming. Otávio Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Wållander in the 56th minute of play. Max Dahlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Mosiniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Uter came free, but Otávio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otávio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Wållander in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Jordan F1 91-05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Simonsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Júnior Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Dahlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdzislaw Waselewicz's late challenge caught a Jordan F1 91-05's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zdzislaw Waselewicz helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Danone CC got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Waselewicz. After 70 played minutes, Jordan F1 91-05's Nils Lindberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Otávio Massa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jordan F1 91-05 reached it. Max Dahlgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdzislaw Waselewicz in the 73rd minute. With 76 minutes on the clock, Alfredinho Pimenta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Danone CC made a substitution. Dinei de Medeiros replaced Tião Esteves. After 85 minutes of play, Danone CC's Clemente Recife made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Max Dahlgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Júnior Veloso got free with Max Dahlgren in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 89 played minutes Danone CC got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Marinho. Danone CC's Otávio Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Söderquist in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Jordan F1 91-05 booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jordan F1 91-05 were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Danone CC to leave the ground with a draw.
