Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anton Harlén started the match with the kick off. Kristiaan Van de Velde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Harlén in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Edgard Armentier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Olof Ahlroht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Van Impe in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when George Van Impe came free, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde got control of the ball when Bror Skoog tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Harlén in the 28th minute of play forced de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Kristiaan Van de Velde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Robijns took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Olof Ahlroht. Sven-Olof Ahlroht dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Armentier in the 33rd minute of play. Edgard Armentier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Olof Ahlroht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Van Impe in the 40th minute of the match. George Van Impe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Edgard Armentier struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Sven-Olof Ahlroht didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for de belletrekkers. de belletrekkers's Edgard Armentier got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Olof Ahlroht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Focquier in the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in de belletrekkers's zone, Bror Skoog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristiaan Van de Velde came out of the goal and Bror Skoog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Armentier in the 74th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Ahlroht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, de belletrekkers's Edgard Armentier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. A collision led to de belletrekkers getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gert Robijns hit a great ball. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Harlén in the 85th minute of play. If Christian Hurtig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Remco Baekelandt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. de belletrekkers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
