Edwin Näfver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Danilo Domingues made a huge save. Georg Lind made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Meninos De Cotia's Vilgot Cane. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meninos De Cotia's goalkeeper Danilo Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Glentown FC got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Liljeström. Jeremias Seco hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Ahlkvist got free with Danilo Domingues in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edwin Näfver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Domingues having to make a save. Edwin Näfver came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Danilo Domingues could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Seco in the 18th minute of play forced Glentown FC's goalkeeper Stefan Ros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meninos De Cotia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agnaldo Siqueira in the 20th minute. The corner led Meninos De Cotia's Agnaldo Siqueira to fire away a dangerous shot which Stefan Ros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mao Yu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Glentown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Lind to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Seco in the 27th minute of play forced Glentown FC's goalkeeper Stefan Ros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Ros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Seco in the 30th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Vilgot Cane in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Glentown FC's Andréas Lindgren. Michel Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Vilgot Cane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stefan Ros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Seco in the 40th minute of the match. Meninos De Cotia's Vilgot Cane quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Georg Lind, made in the 42nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Glentown FC's Andréas Lindgren got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Michel Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefan Ros having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Mao Yu's late challenge caught a Glentown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mao Yu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 50th minute, Mao Yu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwin Näfver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Meninos De Cotia getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Michel Stocks hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Edwin Näfver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glentown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Näfver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Seco came free, but Stefan Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goalkeeper Stefan Ros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Batistuta. Glentown FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Michel Batistuta scored to the left of an out of position Stefan Ros, making the score, 0-1. Georg Lind made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bengt-Åke Anselius immediately put the ball in play. In the 67th match minute, Glentown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Ahlkvist to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Georg Lind with Bengt-Åke Anselius as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Edwin Näfver struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Danilo Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glentown FC. Jeremias Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Stefan Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meninos De Cotia's Xacintu Marin was substituted for Michel Stocks. Meninos De Cotia made a substitution. Niceto Lando replaced Jeremias Seco. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Stefan Ros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 81st minute, Niceto Lando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meninos De Cotia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Danilo Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Näfver, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Edwin Näfver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glentown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Näfver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Glentown FC's zone, Michel Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Ros came out of the goal and Michel Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Meninos De Cotia's Vilgot Cane got a free kick in the 89th minute. Glentown FC's Stefan Ros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Glentown FC from getting a goal against them. Niceto Lando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meninos De Cotia played a much better game than Glentown FC and deserved their victory. The Glentown FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
