Fabiano Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquito Benítez in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Aurelio Abancens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardinho Matorin. Roberto 吴勇 kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A hard shot 23 in the game by Ricardinho Matorin from a close distance when the talented Aurelio Abancens managed to make a qualified save. Deportivo Mandiyu's players were relieved. Chiquito Benítez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabiano Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Fabiano Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Deportivo Mandiyu's Cesar Teofilio was substituted for Chiquito Benítez. After some careless play in the Qjos MiLLano defense, Cesar Teofilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabiano Saldanha. The Qjos MiLLano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabiano Saldanha should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Murdock Sinden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 顾竞骏, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Mauricio Erasto got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Mandiyu's zone, Ricardinho Matorin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Abancens came out of the goal and Ricardinho Matorin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 顾竞骏 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Abancens having to make a save. Aurelio Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 顾竞骏, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Fabiano Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Teofilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fabiano Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Teofilio in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match Deportivo Mandiyu got a corner. Qjos MiLLano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roberto 吴勇 ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Mandiyu's corner Roberto 吴勇 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabiano Saldanha quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Teofilio in the 55th minute of play forced Qjos MiLLano's goalkeeper Fabiano Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Dalmacio Aztore got a free kick in the 56th minute. Dalmacio Aztore kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Aurelio Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孙真星 in the 69th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's Cesar Teofilio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabiano Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Juan María Traverso replaced Arne Bronco. Cafu Hermes hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goal looked a bit too open when 孙真星 came free, but Aurelio Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Teofilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Deportivo Mandiyu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Mandiyu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
