The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquito Benítez got free with Pinkus Berntsen in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arne Bronco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Pinkus Berntsen made a huge save. Pinkus Berntsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquito Benítez in the 14th minute of the match. When Chiquito Benítez came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Deportivo Mandiyu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chiquito Benítez couldn't finish the play. Sånna goa grejer FC's Pinkus Berntsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquito Benítez in the 20th minute of play. Karl-Axel Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Abancens having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match, Arne Bronco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pinkus Berntsen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Deportivo Mandiyu defense, Simon Wennersten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Abancens. The Deportivo Mandiyu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Abancens should have stopped the shot. If Chiquito Benítez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sånna goa grejer FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Georg Wik hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Chiquito Benítez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chiquito Benítez in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pinkus Berntsen saved Sånna goa grejer FC from getting behind. A collision led to Sånna goa grejer FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nils-Åke Biörnberg hit a great ball. Pinkus Berntsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chiquito Benítez went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Wennersten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Sånna goa grejer FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Biörnberg. 62 minutes into the match, Sånna goa grejer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquito Benítez came free, but Pinkus Berntsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Maximiliano Ibon got a free kick in the 64th minute. Deportivo Mandiyu's Juan María Traverso was substituted for Arne Bronco. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Benigno Larpe replaced Chiquito Benítez. A collision led to Sånna goa grejer FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Karl-Axel Sjöberg hit a great ball. Benigno Larpe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pinkus Berntsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sånna goa grejer FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pinkus Berntsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pinkus Berntsen came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Mandiyu's Benigno Larpe. But to his dismay, Benigno Larpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 88th minute, Benigno Larpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pinkus Berntsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benigno Larpe went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Benigno Larpe might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pinkus Berntsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Larpe ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Larpe in the 93rd minute of play forced Sånna goa grejer FC's goalkeeper Pinkus Berntsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
