If Ondrej Olejár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Johan Hultin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ondrej Olejár. After a rather tough play, Rönnöfors FF's Krister Flinck got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Róbert Hargaš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kukova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbert Hargaš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute Rickard Pihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Václav Židek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, FC Kukova's Ivan Halgoš seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ivan Halgoš the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Kukova protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ivan Halgoš had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Rönnöfors FF's Birger Apelkvist got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Václav Židek. Rönnöfors FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
