The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Jaraczewski during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Brow Team getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Stefan Jaraczewski hit a great ball. Agapito Blanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliks Wielowiejski in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Jaraczewski in the 8th minute of play forced FCSB CUENCA's goalkeeper Agapito Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Jaraczewski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agapito Blanco came out and tried to block the shot, but Stefan Jaraczewski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Agapito Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Jaraczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FCSB CUENCA's Agapito Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliks Wielowiejski in the 19th minute of play. Agapito Blanco made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Bogumil Wawro sent off a good shot on target. Cristobal Quevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionel Zărnescu went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Feliks Wielowiejski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Agapito Blanco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Joselito Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FCSB CUENCA's Agapito Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Jaraczewski in the 42nd minute of play. Cristobal Quevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Zărnescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Brow Team's Feliks Wielowiejski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agapito Blanco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ionel Zărnescu to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionel Zărnescu got free with Cristobal Quevedo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brow Team's Cristobal Quevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Brow Team from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FCSB CUENCA's Felix Zărnescu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Joselito Quiroga fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCSB CUENCA's protests and gave Joselito Quiroga a yellow card for diving instead. FCSB CUENCA's Agapito Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliks Wielowiejski in the 70th minute of play. Gorka Turienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Brow Team's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Solo came free, but Cristobal Quevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Waclaw Sienkiewicz put in a rough tackle. In the 74th minute, one of Brow Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brow Team. Brow Team:s Cristobal Quevedo showed great skill when he stopped Ionel Zărnescu:s penalty. If Jedrzej Arnista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agapito Blanco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliks Wielowiejski's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Brow Team were awarded a corner. Karol Gurgul went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Brow Team's Karol Gurgul to fire away a dangerous shot which Agapito Blanco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bernardo Solo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ionel Zărnescus short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Cristobal Quevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
