Leonidas Barrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Quinteros in the 15th minute of the match. Leonidas Barrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Guerrero went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sanderson Cabeleira in the 30th minute. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Emiliano Ekialde hit a great ball. Leonidas Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Guerrero in the 34th minute of play. When -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Sanderson Cabeleira in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buenaventura FC's goalie prevented a goal. Leonidas Barrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Gentiletti, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Francisco Guerrero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonidas Barrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 43rd minute, Sebastian Gentiletti made a precise shot to the right of Leonidas Barrera. Buenaventura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Tijero during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Juan Tijero got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half -BZF- Barca de Buzau were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

-BZF- Barca de Buzau's Jonathan Petersson was substituted for Sanderson Cabeleira. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Paredes was the one to do the kick off. Leonidas Barrera was a little too slow when Emiliano Ekialde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-5. Francisco Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonidas Barrera having to interfere. Leonidas Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Petersson in the 65th minute of play. Leonidas Barrera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 1-7. Leonidas Barrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Buenaventura FC from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Leonidas Barrera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 85thth minute of the game Jonathan Petersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Gentiletti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Leonidas Barrera made a huge save. After 91 minutes of play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Sebastian Gentiletti made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonidas Barrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Gentiletti got free with Leonidas Barrera in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
