With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Sorin in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Billberg saved Sonstorps Fotboll from getting behind. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's César Sá got a free kick in the 17th minute. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Vitor José played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 李煜 Wu in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Paranaense. 21 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when 李煜 Wu came free, but Vitor José reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Sonstorps Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Saul Semeno. Adrian Billberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Sorin's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 李煜 Wu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vitor José tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Sorin struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Adrian Billberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E.R. Caxias do Sul. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mark Dahlberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Sonstorps Fotboll's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Sorin in the 40th minute of play forced Sonstorps Fotboll's goalkeeper Adrian Billberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Jonas Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Billberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sorin in the 44th minute of the match.

In the 52nd minute of the match Sonstorps Fotboll got a corner. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mark Dahlberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vitor José showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carol Wojtyla, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Ignacio Donostia notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Vitor José. Vitor José was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Billberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from César Sá. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ignacio Donostia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Vitor José was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Sorin in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Billberg saved Sonstorps Fotboll from getting behind. Juan Sorin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Adrian Billberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to S.E.R. Caxias do Sul getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Juan Sorin hit a great ball. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivo Mello hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Vitor José showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Donostia in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sonstorps Fotboll fully deserved thier win.
