In the 2nd match minute, FC Kopeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdeněk Skalník to maneuver through the defense. After 5th play minutes Israel Petri shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Benjamin Řeha and just under the crossbar into goal. Benjamin Řeha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Stordal in the 8th minute of play. Benjamin Řeha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Stordal in the 10th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, FC Kopeto's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Stordal came free, but Benjamin Řeha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Malkoçoğlu in the 12th minute of play forced FC Kopeto's goalkeeper Benjamin Řeha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute AEK FC were awarded a corner. Erik Stordal went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Israel Petri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benjamin Řeha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC Kopeto's Benjamin Řeha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Stordal in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Henrik Tjelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Řeha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Řeha came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by AEK FC's Erik Stordal. But to his dismay, Erik Stordal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 25th minute Israel Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Řeha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Abdi Malkoçoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Benjamin Řeha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute Radowit Hetman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Řeha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match AEK FC got a corner. FC Kopeto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erik Stordal ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 31 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Roald Djupvik. Benjamin Řeha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Malkoçoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the FC Kopeto defense, Israel Petri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Řeha. The FC Kopeto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Řeha should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

FC Kopeto made a substitution. Václav Plášil replaced František Žiga. If Zdeněk Skalník had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute, Tomáš Berousek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zdeněk Skalník's late challenge caught a AEK FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zdeněk Skalník helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AEK FC booed when FC Kopeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdeněk Skalník didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dan Sviták fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kopeto's protests and gave Dan Sviták a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes FC Kopeto got a freekick which was hit by Dan Sviták. J.J Boss struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Benjamin Řeha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AEK FC. 72 minutes into the match, FC Kopeto's goalkeeper Benjamin Řeha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Petri. After some careless play in the FC Kopeto defense, Israel Petri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Řeha. The FC Kopeto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Řeha should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radowit Hetman got free with Benjamin Řeha in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Petri. In the 88th minute of the match Václav Plášil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Finn Eidsvåg skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute, Israel Petri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, FC Kopeto's goalkeeper Benjamin Řeha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radowit Hetman.
