The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Radowit Hetman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Themistoklis Saveris. Radowit Hetman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 10th minute Julián Cafelândia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Finn Eidsvåg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ciruel Academy's Themistoklis Saveris got control of the ball when Erik Stordal tried to sneak it across the goal line. AEK FC's Finn Eidsvåg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Brzeszczak in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute Crispin Klander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Finn Eidsvåg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes, Ciruel Academy's Glenn Sommers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Finn Eidsvåg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ciruel Academy reached it. In the 30th minute, Mircea Balint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Erik Stordal came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the AEK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Stordal couldn't finish the play. Finn Eidsvåg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Coronel Durango's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Ciruel Academy's Themistoklis Saveris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Petri in the 34th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Themistoklis Saveris successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Themistoklis Saveris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Stordal in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Ciruel Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Stordal came free, but Themistoklis Saveris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Erik Stordal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciruel Academy's Themistoklis Saveris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 minutes Ciruel Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erik Stordal who took care of the corner kick. In the 46th match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Penkalski to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Coronel Durango to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Abdi Malkoçoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themistoklis Saveris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciruel Academy's Themistoklis Saveris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Stordal in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, AEK FC's Finn Eidsvåg got control of the ball when Ulryk Brzeszczak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Themistoklis Saveris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Petri, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. AEK FC's Finn Eidsvåg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Brzeszczak in the 62nd minute of play. Themistoklis Saveris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Israel Petri's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Stordal in the 68th minute of play forced Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper Themistoklis Saveris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Abdi Malkoçoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AEK FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ciruel Academy's Themistoklis Saveris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Hetman in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Ciruel Academy getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Glenn Sommers hit a great ball. Ciruel Academy's Coronel Durango managed to work through AEK FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Coronel Durango dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Crispin Klander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Finn Eidsvåg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Crispin Klander went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ciruel Academy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AEK FC.
