José Carlos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Pernambucano having to interfere.

Conrado Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mac Allister in the 53rd minute of play. Albertinho Cruz's late challenge caught a Manly FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertinho Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Manly FC booed when EC Rodrigus MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 minutes of play, Manly FC's Mister Yasin made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, Mac Allister made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Moreno. EC Rodrigus MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Conrado Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mac Allister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the EC Rodrigus MZ defense, Mister Yasin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Moreno. The EC Rodrigus MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Moreno should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind EC Rodrigus MZ's goalkeeper Conrado Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Daniel Agger got a free kick in the 81st minute. Conrado Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mister Yasin in the 84th minute of play. Zé Carlos Branco hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Víktor Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play, Manly FC's Rex Matthes made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Manly FC were the better team. Manly FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
