The supporters of Zelg FC booed when Devoto club social was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Iliana didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugene Mullis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomás Bertran. That made the score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualtiero Nacht to strike the kick off in the second half. The Zelg FC fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Zelg FC's Eugene Mullis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eugene Mullis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Bertran having to interfere. Feodor Thelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Tauro in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Willem Migneault managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zelg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willem Migneault was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Eugene Mullis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Devoto club social's Tomás Bertran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualtiero Nacht in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eugene Mullis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Bertran was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Eugene Mullis put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tomás Bertran. Beniamino Wunderlin hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Gaby Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Feodor Thelen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beniamino Wunderlin's late challenge caught a Devoto club social's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beniamino Wunderlin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zelg FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Beniamino Wunderlin hit a great ball. Everardo Iliana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Feodor Thelen. Zelg FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eugene Mullis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Eugene Mullis notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Devoto club social's Tomás Bertran. Tomás Bertran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Zelg FC booed when Devoto club social was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Kauldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes, Eugene Mullis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zelg FC and the Devoto club social players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zelg FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Eugene Mullis hit a great ball. After 96 minutes of play, Zelg FC's Gualtiero Nacht made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Bertran was left in no man's land by his defense there!
