After 10 minutes of play, Zelg FC's Gualtiero Nacht made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Bertran was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Devoto club social's goal looked a bit too open when Gualtiero Nacht came free, but Tomás Bertran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eugene Mullis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualtiero Nacht in the 22nd minute of play forced Devoto club social's goalkeeper Tomás Bertran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Gasteiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Anderjoli having to interfere. Tomás Bertran came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Zelg FC's Gualtiero Nacht. But to his dismay, Gualtiero Nacht quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 32 minutes, Paulo Henrico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Devoto club social and the Zelg FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Paulo Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eugene Mullis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Gilberto Theissl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38thth minute of the game Gualtiero Nacht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devoto club social's Tomás Bertran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fermin Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Devoto club social players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zelg FC were winning 0-4.

After 54 played minutes Devoto club social got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Txilar. After a rather tough play, Devoto club social's Dante Michael got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the match, Devoto club social's goal looked a bit too open when Eugene Mullis came free, but Tomás Bertran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Michael hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Devoto club social's Tomás Bertran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualtiero Nacht in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Devoto club social's goalkeeper Tomás Bertran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Devoto club social booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurenz Sprecher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philippe Vehma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Tomás Bertran made a huge save. After 89 minutes Devoto club social's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilberto Theissl who took care of the corner kick. Willem Migneault charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willem Migneault the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Willem Migneault hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Zelg FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugene Mullis. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zelg FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
