The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roland Cirella was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vagner Penisson in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirilo Frichoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 19 in the game by Vagner Penisson from a close distance when the talented Cirilo Frichoso managed to make a qualified save. Merengue FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Merengue FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Eustaquio Iraido hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Mick Badurina. Vagner Penissons short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Cirilo Frichoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cirilo Frichoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vagner Penisson went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 32 played minutes Merengue FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Victoro. Vagner Penisson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Cirilo Frichoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Merengue FC defense, Vagner Penisson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cirilo Frichoso. The Merengue FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cirilo Frichoso should have stopped the shot. Adam Hinnen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Frichoso having to interfere. Cirilo Frichoso stood somewhat misplaced when Vagner Penisson came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 43 minute. 46 minutes into the match, Vagner Penisson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Frichoso. Merengue FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vagner Penisson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vagner Penisson made a kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Vagner Penisson sped through Merengue FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cirilo Frichoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vagner Penisson in the 56th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Yanic Kulenovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Benjamin Semeno got a free kick in the 59th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Vagner Penisson put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cirilo Frichoso. In the 64thth minute of the game Vagner Penisson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merengue FC's Cirilo Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Vagner Penisson sped through Merengue FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cirilo Frichoso. Adam Hinnen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Marco Lonzo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 84 played minutes Merengue FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Semeno. 93 minutes into the game, Vagner Penisson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Cirilo Frichoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Wil 1900 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
