ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marcel Chiriță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Cirella in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Adam Hinnen got a free kick in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Lv Si Hao came free, but Yanic Kulenovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s attentive Maxim Rioşanu managed to snatch the ball when Reinhard Eichel made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Roberto Birchler got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Ion Cucerzan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ion Cucerzan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Vagner Penisson could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Marcel Chiriță however easily saved by the left post. With his leg Marcel Chiriță managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when FC Wil 1900's Vagner Penisson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute Roland Cirella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Chiriță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Rușanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 40thth minute of the game Călin Tache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wil 1900's Yanic Kulenovic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute Roland Cirella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Chiriță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Chiriță stood somewhat misplaced when Vagner Penisson came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 43 minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Chiriloaie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Silvan Feldmann. 57 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Yanic Kulenovic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Chiriloaie. Marcel Chiriță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vagner Penisson in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ion Cucerzan. Marcel Chiriță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vagner Penisson in the 62nd minute of the match. Marcel Chiriță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vagner Penisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 minutes, Vagner Penisson made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marcel Chiriță tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcel Chiriță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Hinnen in the 66th minute of play. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Hinnen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Marcel Chiriță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vagner Penisson's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
