In the 6th minute Gabriel Chiriloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Kismi made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Lv Si Hao sent off a good shot on target. After 12 minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iker Dolfos who took care of the corner kick. C. A. Atlanta's Iker Dolfos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcel Chiriță in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcel Chiriță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Dolfos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Cristinel Andronescu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cristinel Andronescu hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lv Si Hao. Cleto Ferran scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Chiriță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Eli struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Marcel Chiriță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Atlanta. Călin Tache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Arnoldo Kismi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, C. A. Atlanta's Cleto Ferran made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Chiriță was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Chiriloaie made a kick off. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kerimhan Sökmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldo Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Tache, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 56 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Călin Tache. In the 58th minute of the match, Jonathan Eli got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcel Chiriță was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Chiriloaie in the 60th minute of play. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Lucrețiu Arotăriței got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- defense, Jonathan Eli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Chiriță. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Chiriță should have stopped the shot. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marcel Chiriță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Ferran in the 68th minute of play. C. A. Atlanta's attentive Rodolfo Etxepare managed to snatch the ball when Călin Tache made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Kerimhan Sökmen hit a great ball. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Gabriel Chiriloaie looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnoldo Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Chiriloaie in the 80th minute of the match. C. A. Atlanta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iker Dolfos in the 85th minute. A hard shot 87 in the game by Jonathan Eli from a close distance when the talented Marcel Chiriță managed to make a qualified save. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s players were relieved. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing C. A. Atlanta to win.
