The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teo Lico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 卓笑沙, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Royal Knights FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aníbal Fonseca in the 6th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Cristóvão Valle to score against Teo Lico in Errecaborda AFC's goal. 0-1 after 6 minutes. When Abelardo França fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal Knights FC's protests and gave Abelardo França a yellow card for diving instead. Abelardo França kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Cristóvão Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Lico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Pires came free, but Teo Lico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when Royal Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. 卓笑沙 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Maurin. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonatan Ursino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artur Maciejewski. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. Cristóvão Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Teo Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arne Röspel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Royal Knights FC's Artur Maciejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mikelar in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Venceslao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Mikelar struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Artur Maciejewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Errecaborda AFC. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Ernesto Venceslao got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 卓笑沙 in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Lico saved Errecaborda AFC from getting behind. In the 67th minute Jonatan Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Maciejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Marcelo Eztebe made a precise shot to the right of Artur Maciejewski. Royal Knights FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 74 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mikelar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Artur Maciejewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonatan Ursino charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonatan Ursino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonatan Ursino hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Errecaborda AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Royal Knights FC:s goal. In the 89th minute, Aníbal Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teo Lico was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Teo Lico made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Hudson Pires sent off a good shot on target. Errecaborda AFC's Teo Lico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 卓笑沙 in the 97th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, 卓笑沙 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teo Lico. Errecaborda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 卓笑沙 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The Royal Knights FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Errecaborda AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
