The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Txindoki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Serge Koryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Barea, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Manuel Stepanyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel Barea struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Serge Koryan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viseu United. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khachatryan's goalkeeper Serge Koryan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serge Koryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Barea in the 20th minute of the match. When Tommy Landis fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Khachatryan's protests and gave Tommy Landis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Landis to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Tenho Bolas. In the 32nd minute, Israel Barea made a precise shot to the right of Serge Koryan. Khachatryan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Manuel Stepanyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Adrian Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Viseu United's Fábio Prata got a free kick in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricky Villegas in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Txindoki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Viseu United booed when Khachatryan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Smolarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 played minutes, Viseu United's Ahmet Ali Tayfur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serge Koryan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Viseu United reached it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Stepanyan in the 54th minute of play forced Viseu United's goalkeeper Adrian Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Khachatryan got a corner. Viseu United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arno Martirosyan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Khachatryan's corner Arno Martirosyan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adrian Txindoki quite easily take care of the ball. Yang Yu Yu kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Adrian Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Raţiu in the 58th minute of the match. Adrian Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Villegas in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Stepanyan in the 70th minute of play forced Viseu United's goalkeeper Adrian Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serge Koryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Barea in the 71st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arno Martirosyan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Txindoki was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Tenho Bolas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Serge Koryan made a huge save. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Arno Martirosyan sped through Viseu United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrian Txindoki. Khachatryan's Shi Liang Hao was substituted for Nair Vartanyan. Viseu United's Lei Shu Gang was substituted for Israel Barea. Viseu United made a substitution. Andaka Brito replaced Ruben Jurgi. Khachatryan's Jerry Richter was substituted for Ricky Villegas. Serge Koryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Shu Gang in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Viseu United getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Martin Min hit a great ball. Khachatryan's Arno Martirosyan took a good shot, in the 92nd minute, which hit the crossbar above Adrian Txindoki's head, and flew over the goal. Viseu United's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Khachatryan. Lei Shu Gang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Serge Koryan made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
