Marian Basarab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Guerau in the 16th minute of play. Danil Merkushev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Carlos Manuel Goyeneche made a huge save. Plebeyos's Carlos Manuel Goyeneche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Marino in the 25th minute of play. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Adrian Zbora capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrian Zbora really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danil Merkushev in the 31st minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Carlos Manuel Goyeneche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Jorge Cordaryal put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Plebeyos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Buffalo Timişoara:s goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Zbora to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Zbora in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Manuel Goyeneche saved Plebeyos from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Adrian Zbora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Manuel Goyeneche was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Zbora in the 53rd minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Carlos Manuel Goyeneche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Zbora went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Buffalo Timişoara fully deserved thier win.
