Dionisio Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Madaleno in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, POSSE 1911 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Semeno came free, but Feliberto Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Saverio Cristofor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tello AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave POSSE 1911 FC the free kick. After 13 played minutes Tello AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Cristofor. Mariano Beliran hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, POSSE 1911 FC's Carlos Odilon got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Mariano Beliran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliberto Gaskon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emilio Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Dionisio Matia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Xabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Madaleno hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tello AFC's Emilio Colas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Feliberto Gaskon. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. POSSE 1911 FC's Feliberto Gaskon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save POSSE 1911 FC from getting a goal against them. In the 34thth minute of the game Godfredo Xabel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tello AFC's Dionisio Matia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Tello AFC's Virgilio Baristo got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Melchor Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dionisio Matia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Mannuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Vermudo in the 40th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of POSSE 1911 FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tello AFC:s goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Colas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Emilio Colas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliberto Gaskon was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Dionisio Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Madaleno in the 56th minute of play.
