The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alexandro Carvacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Derwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Armando Larrea during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erasmo Ixona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Beauchef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alexandro Carvacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Nereo Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marlin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Henry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandro Carvacho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ignacio Derwin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Marlin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Derwin couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Nereo Henry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marlin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. TurboUC's Alexandro Carvacho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save TurboUC from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Gonzales to maneuver through the defense. Geronimo Isadore kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

TurboUC made a substitution. Nazario Alcantara replaced Bernardino Larraín. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignacio Derwin was the one to do the kick off. The Marlin FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Marlin FC's Agustin Orlandus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Agustin Orlandus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Pimentel kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Erasmo Ixona was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Xamín Angeloni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xamín Angeloni really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 78th minute, Nereo Henry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Orlandus in the 79th minute of play forced TurboUC's goalkeeper Alexandro Carvacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandro Carvacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Marlin FC's Erasmo Ixona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Marlin FC from getting a goal against them. Enrique Beauchef could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Erasmo Ixona made a huge save. The supporters of TurboUC booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Darien didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marlin FC! The goalkeeper, Erasmo Ixona, was totally fooled by TurboUC's Salvador Lasa, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 100th match minute, TurboUC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Armando Larrea to maneuver through the defense. The TurboUC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Marlin FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
