Erasmo Ixona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Smibum in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Derwin came free, but Mark Kimman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Teun Schoenmakers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lemel SV's supporters rose to their feet, but Teun Schoenmakers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Ixona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Edward Verbeek put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lemel SV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! After 24 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Henry. In the 24th minute of the match Philip Traa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erasmo Ixona showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Derwin got free with Mark Kimman in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Teun Schoenmakers got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Arnaldo Darien sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Kimman skillfully saved the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Gilberto Garaile was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marlin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lemel SV the free kick. Teun Schoenmakers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erasmo Ixona. Marlin FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ignacio Derwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Mark Kimman made a huge save. Philip Traa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Darien took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mark Kimman. Lemel SV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teun Schoenmakers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lemel SV's Mark Kimman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Jon in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 55th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Mark Kimman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes, Philip Traa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lemel SV and the Marlin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Philip Traa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lemel SV's Mark Kimman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 75th minute of play. Mark Kimman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Jon in the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Lemel SV defense, Domingo Jon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Kimman. The Lemel SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Kimman should have stopped the shot. Domingo Jon kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. A hard shot by Philip Traa from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Erasmo Ixona's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Elmar Neijsen charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elmar Neijsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Elmar Neijsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Eufrasio came free, but Mark Kimman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lemel SV players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marlin FC.
