The Gunners Juniors's Wojciech Winnicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 14th minute of play. Erasmo Ixona came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by The Gunners Juniors's Kristoffer Nimtofte. But to his dismay, Kristoffer Nimtofte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The Gunners Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Ignacio Derwin scored to the left of an out of position Wojciech Winnicki, making the score, 3-1. Anier Eufrasio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wojciech Winnicki firmly grabbed it by the left post. 34 minutes into the game, Anier Eufrasio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Wojciech Winnicki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Henry in the 36th minute of play forced The Gunners Juniors's goalkeeper Wojciech Winnicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Péter Lendvay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Ixona. Marlin FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Péter Lendvay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 47th minute Jesús Imaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Ixona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacio Derwin to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Ignacio Derwin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marlin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Gunners Juniors the free kick. Erasmo Ixona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Nimtofte in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Orti. In the 72nd match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Henry to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the The Gunners Juniors defense, Domingo Jon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wojciech Winnicki. The The Gunners Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wojciech Winnicki should have stopped the shot. The Gunners Juniors's Simon Sundin was substituted for 陈荣锋.
