Scorpions -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulryk Jarek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Miromir Dejo's late challenge caught a Scorpions -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miromir Dejo helped the player get up and apologised. Miromir Dejo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Maciej Budrewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Chirculescu in the 6th minute of the match. FC Krasnosielc were furious when Witalis Mazierz was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 8th minute, Witalis Mazierz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 minutes of play, Scorpions -MM-'s Ferdinand Chirculescu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maciej Budrewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when FC Krasnosielc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulryk Jarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Krasnosielc's Maciej Budrewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Cimpoieru in the 21st minute of play. Iurie Cocoș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krzysztof Rutecki in the 25th minute. Scorpions -MM- were furious when Tony Dobos was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 28 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Tony Dobos. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ulryk Jarek managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Krasnosielc's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulryk Jarek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iurie Cocoș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miromir Dejo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Luca Modrić hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Ulryk Jarek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iurie Cocoș showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maciej Budrewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Chirculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Scorpions -MM-'s zone, Krzysztof Rutecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iurie Cocoș came out of the goal and Krzysztof Rutecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdinand Chirculescu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Scorpions -MM-'s Alexandru Zăvoiu was substituted for Aurelian Dănănae. In the 48th match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Chirculescu to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Scorpions -MM- were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Krzysztof Rutecki made the kick off in the second half. Luca Modrić's late challenge caught a FC Krasnosielc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Modrić helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Luca Modrić. Iurie Cocoș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Bierfass in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Krasnosielc's goalkeeper Maciej Budrewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferdinand Chirculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maciej Budrewicz having to interfere. Fryderyk Jeziorkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Iurie Cocoș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scorpions -MM-'s Alexandru Zăvoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Krasnosielc's Piotr Dzierwa got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ferdinand Chirculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Maciej Budrewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes FC Krasnosielc got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Skoroda. When Krzysztof Rutecki came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FC Krasnosielc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krzysztof Rutecki couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, FC Krasnosielc's Maciej Budrewicz got control of the ball when Ferdinand Chirculescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iurie Cocoș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Rutecki in the 79th minute of play. Eric Cimpoieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Krasnosielc's Fryderyk Jeziorkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iurie Cocoș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Rutecki in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Krzysztof Rutecki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iurie Cocoș was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Scorpions -MM- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Scorpions -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
