Edmund Lenertej was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabian Mihuț kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Tang Han shot from long distance in the 14th minute, but Iurie Cocoș was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. A collision led to Nightmare getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Aaron Chevalier hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Witold Pryla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Cocoș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Benitez in the 21st minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Iurie Cocoș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ferdinand Chirculescu fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scorpions -MM-'s protests and gave Ferdinand Chirculescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Chirculescu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when Nightmare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoff Turner didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Chevalier in the 32nd minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Iurie Cocoș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Benitez took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iurie Cocoș. Iurie Cocoș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Iurie Cocoș made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Witold Pryla sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Scorpions -MM- made a substitution. Fabian Orășan replaced Vasile Onitiu. Witold Pryla took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iurie Cocoș. Iurie Cocoș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 59 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Dănănae. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witold Pryla in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iurie Cocoș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Scorpions -MM-! Aaron Chevalier hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Nightmare's Wiktor Fink was substituted for Guy Grimault. In the 74th minute Aaron Chevalier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Cocoș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ferdinand Chirculescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scorpions -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Iurie Cocoș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Pryla in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Chevalier to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Chevalier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Iurie Cocoș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ademir de Sena came free, but Iurie Cocoș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Nightmare booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Modrić didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4-2 became the score in the 90th minute when Taka Jachvadze elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Scorpions -MM-'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
