With an all-out effort, Branco FC's Harry Kane threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sotiris Vergos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 20 minutes into the game, He Qiang Sang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Esteban Iigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Branco FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CE LAJEADENSE RS were winning 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renan da Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as He Qiang Sang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esteban Iigo. That made the score 1-7 in the 85 minute of play.
