Thanks to some nice moves Gerard van den Eede could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Cecilio Mantzio however easily saved by the left post. Gerard van den Eede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Cecilio Mantzio made a huge save. Cecilio Mantzio made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gerard van den Eede sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 47 minutes, Gerard van den Eede managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Underdogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerard van den Eede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Astor Bero made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izaak Achterberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in The Underdogs's zone, Reynaldo Izotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer came out of the goal and Reynaldo Izotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, Fermin Oto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Underdogs the free kick. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Oto didn't get a good kick on the ball. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Cecilio Mantzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Reintjes in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Gerard van den Eede made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Mantzio. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 84th minute, Gerard van den Eede ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Mantzio was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Cecilio Mantzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izaak Achterberg in the 87th minute of play. After 94 minutes, Vicente Leguizamón mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ and the The Underdogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute Gerard van den Eede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Underdogs's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
