After 27 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Mazza. 30 minutes into the game, Fermin Oto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio Verde F.C CIMZ the free kick. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Oto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perivaldo Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Mantzio having to interfere. Paulo de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Jenaro in the 42nd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas França stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Eliseo Jenaro took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Paulo de Mendonça to make any attempt to save it. In the 69th match minute, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Izotz to maneuver through the defense. Paulo de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Oto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Nicolas França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rio Verde F.C CIMZ getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Thomás do Valle hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Rio Verde F.C CIMZ lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
