Jataiense Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ the free kick. Xabel Vilafranca kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Cecilio Mantzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Gonçalves in the 11th minute of play. Cecilio Mantzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Golaki Goiano's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Horácio Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Queiroz in the 20th minute of play forced ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Cecilio Mantzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Claudinho Queiroz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cecilio Mantzio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Golaki Goiano got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Queiroz in the 25th minute of play forced ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Cecilio Mantzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Cecilio Mantzio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Golaki Goiano. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Claudinho Queiroz managed to work through ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Claudinho Queiroz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Alperen Bozkurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Izotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 34th match minute, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Harkaitz to maneuver through the defense. Cecilio Mantzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Queiroz in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Gonçalves got free with Cecilio Mantzio in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cecilio Mantzio came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Jataiense Futebol Clube's Golaki Goiano. But to his dismay, Golaki Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jataiense Futebol Clube made a substitution. Eurico Rezende replaced Luiz Fábio Passos. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Astor Bero to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Claudinho Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Golaki Goiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Mantzio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cecilio Mantzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Queiroz in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinho Queiroz in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecilio Mantzio saved ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Claudinho Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Mantzio was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Wágner Fox was substituted for Claudinho Queiroz. A sloppy throw-in by Fernando Aimar in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jataiense Futebol Clube's Kalle Biörkquist. Cecilio Mantzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Golaki Goiano's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Wágner Fox had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Mantzio. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wágner Fox was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Cecilio Mantzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Golaki Goiano in the 90th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jataiense Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
