Luke Deveraux was slow to take the kick. During this time Leicester Lions's players had a chance to rest. Leicester Lions's Luke Deveraux was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Segundo Nuñez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patryk Plučinský in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Segundo Nuñez saved TALLERES DE CBA from getting behind. Segundo Nuñez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luke Deveraux. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huey Porter in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Nuñez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mike Wadham kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Luke Deveraux got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Perutxo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ozzy Blythe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leicester Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. TALLERES DE CBA's Segundo Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Bettney in the 79th minute of play. There was no doubt that Leicester Lions were the better team. Leicester Lions's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
