The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Callum Barratt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Gomez in the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leicester Lions's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thomas Klanakis was slow to take the kick. During this time Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's players had a chance to rest. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Thomas Klanakis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Callum Barratt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 6th minute, John Peacock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 7 minutes, Thomas Klanakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Klanakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Ozzy Blythe got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 15 played minutes, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Krzysztof Zbydniowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Callum Barratt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Resurrección Diabólica Ψ reached it. Callum Barratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Gomez in the 25th minute of play. Dario Tebaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Thomas Klanakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Callum Barratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Francesco Toldo got control of the ball when Ralf Hind tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ozzy Blythe, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gabriel Gomez hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Gomez came free, but Callum Barratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Klanakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Callum Barratt made a huge save. Dario Tebaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Huey Porter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mike Wadham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francesco Toldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Leicester Lions's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Thomas Klanakis scored to the left of an out of position Callum Barratt, making the score, 0-1. Adam Bettney kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
