Ciprian Caba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Germán Burgos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 7 played minutes AC Ony got a freekick which was hit by Pipo Tinto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Tusk in the 9th minute of play forced U21 Totoras F.C.'s goalkeeper Germán Burgos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Pipo Tinto in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Totoras F.C.'s Tiburcio Haimar. Germán Burgos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Jian Song in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Gerardo Edur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cisco Rubial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Edur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cisco Rubial tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alfréd Marton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cisco Rubial was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Tiburcio Haimar ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 43rd match minute, U21 Totoras F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Beti to maneuver through the defense. After the first half U21 Totoras F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feng Qian Chao during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An impressive performance by U21 Totoras F.C.'s Tiburcio Haimar! Alfréd Marton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Cisco Rubial made a huge save. Cipriano Chus hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Cisco Rubial was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The U21 Totoras F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing U21 Totoras F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
