In the 3rd minute Marcus Allbäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Widodo Reza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Widodo Reza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Allbäck went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute Adhemar Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Widodo Reza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's goal looked a bit too open when Adhemar Santos came free, but Widodo Reza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yahya Kılıçaslan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Original Sabahan's Widodo Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Allbäck in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yahya Kılıçaslan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Original Sabahan's Widodo Reza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Original Sabahan from getting a goal against them. After 52 minutes Original Sabahan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Drew Zaelani who took care of the corner kick. Widodo Reza made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Marcus Allbäck sent off a good shot on target. If Marcus Allbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Original Sabahan's Widodo Reza got control of the ball when Marcus Allbäck tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Adhemar Santos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. João Francisco Arce replaced George Pogba. Original Sabahan's Joko Waluyo was substituted for Yahya Kılıçaslan. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Bernardino Llorenc was substituted for Marcus Allbäck. 77 minutes into the match, Bernardino Llorenc notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Original Sabahan's Widodo Reza. Widodo Reza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Original Sabahan's Dewa Kooth quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Drew Zaelani, made in the 79th minute of the game. João Francisco Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Widodo Reza made a huge save. 90 minutes into the game, Bernardino Llorenc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Widodo Reza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Drew Zaelani kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Joko Waluyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Joinville City - FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Original Sabahan.
