In the 12th minute Pavel Balc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Widodo Reza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Yahya Kılıçaslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragomir Marchovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Yahya Kılıçaslan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dragomir Marchovski. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Balc came free, but Widodo Reza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yahya Kılıçaslan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Dragomir Marchovski made a huge save. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by André Luís Tande with Yahya Kılıçaslan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Original Sabahan's Fadhly Haryanto-Ie quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orlando Jerrold, made in the 32nd minute of the game. A collision led to Stone City getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dalmacio Rufio hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Stone City's Amanda Ingesson was substituted for Derek Yu. The wind increased when Pavel Balc made the kick off in the second half. Mai Yi Xu charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mai Yi Xu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Original Sabahan booed when Stone City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mai Yi Xu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Balc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Widodo Reza made a huge save. In the 58th minute Yahya Kılıçaslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragomir Marchovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cristoforo Strazzabosco fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Original Sabahan's protests and gave Cristoforo Strazzabosco a yellow card for diving instead. Cristoforo Strazzabosco hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Balc got free with Widodo Reza in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stone City made a substitution. Marcus Lindström replaced Chu Wen Le. Stone City's Leon Matthäus was substituted for Pavel Balc. Dragomir Marchovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yahya Kılıçaslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Yahya Kılıçaslan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Stone City's Dragomir Marchovski. Dragomir Marchovski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Joko Waluyo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Original Sabahan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joko Waluyo couldn't finish the play. Leon Matthäus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Widodo Reza came out and tried to block the shot, but Leon Matthäus slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 83rd minute. When Lucho Cal fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stone City's protests and gave Lucho Cal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Stone City's Lucho Cal got a free kick in the 85th minute. Joko Waluyo scored 3-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dragomir Marchovski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Lucho Cal in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Original Sabahan's Yao Jian Lei. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joko Waluyo in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dragomir Marchovski saved Stone City from getting behind. Original Sabahan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fadhly Haryanto-Ie in the 96th minute. After taking down the ball on Original Sabahan's corner Fadhly Haryanto-Ie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dragomir Marchovski quite easily take care of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stone City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Original Sabahan.
